I posted what I posted because what often happens on here is one person makes a joke that is about sex or politics or something. It is edgy and many people find it funny.

Then someone else post one and it is still in the same vein.

Then there is always that one person who goes way over the line. Then I start getting PMs and then I have to send warnings, delete or lock.

Anyway, I am not jewish. I am not Isreali nor do I have ancestory from the middle east.

However, any joke that has death in it creeps me out so the reason I do not find it funny has nothing to do with political correctness. It has to do with that every time I see the word holocust, my heart is saddened. I personally do not think I could ever hear the word in a sentence and laugh. That is just me.

I'm not looking for a "religous discussion." I know how I feel about it, and I'm not gonna try and "convince" other people or anything like that. Religion is the single most divisive thing/concept/idea in the world today and is the cause of MANY of the world's problems. They're all pretty much groups that say "oh, well, God loves all people and will forgive you for all your sins and you will go to heaven.......oh, unless you prefer sex with men instead of women. In that case, God hates you and you are going to h*ll and now we're gonna protest your graduation because we don't like you." Religion is a f*cking joke. I don't think the US would ever strike first using nuclear weapons it wouldn't make sense for them to do so. Israel wouldn't dare do such a thing unless they ask their daddy first, the US, and they ok it which I don't think would happen.

I don't really think any of the big countries you named are looking for a war. China is finally starting to become an economic power and they need the US and Europe to continue that development since we buy up every single good they manufacture basically. I think you are wrong. I think you greatly underestimate the will and resolve of Israel to defend itself - at all costs. They might like approval from the West, but they will act with or without it if necessary.

They have spent centuries defending themselves against extinction. They have the best intellegience organization in the world, sophisticated military and balls of steel. If Iran acts on any of their recent threats....Iran will be the parking lot, not Israel.

Thats great and all but your talking about a pre-emptive nuclear strike. I really doubt the US would want to be associated with a country that performs that. Which it would be impossible for the US to not be associated with them as they receive billions of dollars in aid and without the US Israel would fall off the map because they wouldn't have the protection and backing of any other superpower.

I'm not saying there wouldn't be a realiatory attack by Israel if they are struck first but they wouldn't strike first as you claim they would.

In my original post, I wasn't saying that Israel would strike first....although I can see that it maybe looked like that. I was basically saying that, in light of the recent threats that Iran has been making, that if Iran were to do something stupid, that Israel will react swiftly and decisively...maybe a nuke, maybe not. But I think they would use a nuke if they thought it was necessary.

Again though, I think you are underestimately Israel capabilities. They would fall off the map without the US?? They have been surviving for centuries, by kicking other people's assess when necessary, long before the US even existed. Sure, they'd welcome help from an alli/friend....but they can take care of themselves. They are not burdened with needing world approval, as the US is....survival and protection of Israel is their first priority.
