I stumbled upon FCP one day and was immediately drawn to the forums. I visited occasionally, lurked, got flamed a few times, and posted here and there. I eventually became accepted, found a home in the Off-Topic area, and the rest, as they, say is history.
I would have hit 2000 a week ago, but had to make up for the loss of a the UYPC posts.
Perhaps that was a blessing in disguise, however, the loss of UYPC spawned this thread, a major improvement.
I won't get all weepy, but I do want to thank DN for having this forum, all the powers that be, the original OTC, the NerdHerd, and of course all my homies in The Hideout: (I am sorry if I missed anyone, but I wasn't going to read 42 pages)
