Preflop: Hero is CO with A:spade:, A:diamond:.
3 folds, MP2 calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 9:spade:, 8:diamond:, Q:heart: (2 players)
MP2 bets, MP2 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) K:spade: (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.75 BB) 2:spade: (2 players)
MP2 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.75 BB


Any comments?

Does anyone play it differently?

No reads on villain, new to the table.

what are the options?

folding is ridiculous

3 betting Turn folds hands we want to lead into us on the river, and costs us more when we are crushed. Unless he's a maniac.

Maybe some would 3-bet-fold Turn, that aggressive/tight style seems to be popular.

Problem with this is we would have a ton of outs on 2 pairs and the pot is big.




I think this hand basically plays itself out. Overall looks fine.

yeah, but what's are ave outs against a capping hand on the turn?

mind you, I don't make the 3-bet; but it wouldn't surprise me if some find value in it. (then folding, putting villan on a set or straight)
