Why does the WPT do these events they are the dumbest thing ive ever seen. The play is so god damn bad its not even worth watching. Nobody wants to watch a bunch of famous people play poker. The only thing this does is make me pray to the poker gods to get me in the game. I think they should start having a celebrity hockey game. At least that would be entertaining, a bunch of celebrities that can't skate falling all over the place. And they have those stupid red cards where they call down negraneau for help, all of the decisions are so easy to make any one who has played poker for more than an hour could make them.

I haven't seen the WPT version, but I love how its celebrity Poker, yet they get a bunch of C-list celebrities. Why would anyone want to watch people like Dave Coulier and Howie Mandell play poker. Maybe I'd watch if you made a table with Ben Afleck, Matt Damon, Jennifer Tilly, Tobey Maguire, Gabe Kaplan... and whatever celebs actually have a keen sense of what they are donig.

I agree, watching celebrities play poker is not entertaining for me in the slightest, though someone out there must like it , because it is still on the air.....

I would have an interest in watching a 6-man table with Gabe Kaplan, Tobey Maguire, Affleck, Jennifer Tilly, James Woods, and another talented poker playing celebrity just for the fun of it. I could at least get some enjoyment out of watching some talented poker playing celebrities, instead of Scott Stapp from Creed and Coolio.
