starting all over with limit and im having trouble with these 2 hands the most, when an over card hits i cant give them immediate credit for it but then it seems i lose when i think im ahead and win when im calling them down, yall got any basic pointers on these 2 hands?

i need more information how agressive do you usually play these hands preflop? what limits do you play and what starting requirements do your oponents have?

my bad, basically from .25/.50 on up to 1/2 is what im looking for, my game is completely shot and im starting over from stratch on my new game

With QQ I re-raise from any position and re-raise with JJ from late, this is obiviously a donkfest limit so starting requirements are all over.

I will continuation bet the flop even if there is an overcard

im just looking for basic overall strategy here, nothing too complicated seeing as how i need the basics again

Preflop - At these limits you should always raise or 3-bet with these two hands pre-flop. With QQ you want to cap when facing a raise and a re-raise and you want to fold JJ when facing a raise and a re-raise unless 1 or both of those players are maniacs, then capping is probably correct. If I raise with either hand I'm 3-bet I'm always capping QQ and I usually capping JJ when in position.

Postflop - is obviously much tougher, but in general when I have an underpair I play it aggressively until I'm played back at and against most opponents you can safely fold if there is an overcard on board and you're raised. Other than that, it really comes down to posting hands and practicing. One thing to keep in mind is that you're much more likely to be beat if there is an Ace on board than if there is a King on board since most players will play any Ace.

Well, flop texture is important, potential draws of that sort, a read on a particular opponent. All these things are factored in when deciding whether to call down or fold or raise. You use all the information you have on your opponent to make the best decision possible, sometimes it'll be wrong, but if you know your opponents well, you'll be right more often than not.

Funny thing is I'm not winning much more money with AA and KK than I am with QQ and JJ. It's probably because I've been running like crap over the last 25k hands, but KK is my biggest winner and AA is behind that while QQ and JJ only trail AA by about 0.2 BB per hand. Anybody else ever get similar stats?
