Full Version: can't reload at a live game ?!

Why can you not add more chips to your stack at a live game ?!

For example, i sit down at a no limit table and buy in for $200. My first hand i get beat up on pretty bad and am down to $50. Well, i may feel like i just had a bad hand and want to reload back to $200 so that A. I can protect my hand and B. I can maximize my winnings when i hit a big hand. But wait, FCP does not allow this. In order to add more chips to my stack, i have to do one of two things, GIVE away my $50 or get up from the game and sit back down. If this table has a waiting list, getting up is not an option. This has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen in poker. What kind of reasoning is there behind this ?! Why prevent people from adding to their stacks in between hands up to the max if they wish ?! This is possible on virtually every other InterNet Poker site as well as every live game on the planet. Can someone at FCP please explain this to me?!

Thanks

You should be able to reload, all you have to do is sit out of the hand to access the cashier. You don't have to get up from the table.

Note: although this is true, it is still illogical.

It's a part of all the pokerroom clients, tho.

FCPInfo, i'm not talking about adding more chips to my "account", but adding more chips to the table. I talked to Customer Support and they responded with "Sorry!". Meaning that is not an option. Can you please offer some insight into why FCP decided not to let players add to their stacks especially for reasons that I brought up in my original post.

Thanks

Hi TrueFX, I'm not talking about reloading your account I am talking about bringing more chips to the table in a NL game. If you sit out a hand you'll be able to add more chips to your table stack when you're below the maximum buy in for that table. I agree that the system would be better if you didn't have to sit out a hand to do this but that is what the system is and how the Network software handles things. We will be suggesting to the Network to change this but we don't have control over that.
