Ok, dont have the hand history on this one since it was on Pacific:
2/4 limit, 9 handed
I get 10

10

UTG, i raise.
Everybody folds to the BB who calls. Pot is 5SB.
Flop is J22 rainbow. He bets, I raise, he three bets.
Whats my action?

no reads, I call down.
If he checks turn and river, I bet river.
odds slim he hit a J.
Even slimmer he has a 2.
real odd not to 3-bet JJ-AA preflop.
he hopes you fold overs, plain and simple.
with reads he's real TP, easy fold.

what do you think he's leading into you on that flop with?
I probably would just call the flop bet and either call the turn and river, or raise/fold the turn.
I'd raise the flop if I could fold to a 3-bet. If I felt for some reason I didn't want to fold to a 3-bet, I'd cap the flop and fold if he leads the turn.

I find stubborn BB's all the time and would be hesitant to compile info that makes me want to fold.

Well, I ruled out the chance that he would do this with a 2. J, perhaps. But like Actuary said..lots of stubborn BBs. So im not buying it. Folding is no option. I was/ am really doubting about capping or just calling. I just called.
Pot is 5,5BB.
Good, turn came a K. Puts 2 to a flush on the board. He bets, I raise...
Anyone likes this?

Are you trying to get him to fold a J? Because more often than not, it won't work.

why are you raising?
off the top of my head I don't like it.
You are folding to a 3-bet ?

how is this better than seeing SD for same price?
Are you value betting against 77-99 ?

Im in position, im raising for a free showdown...and I reckoned i might have some FE aswell. Another thing, if he calls and I improve on the river, i can get another bet. I think the chance is very slim that he donks me on the river after calling me on the turn.

improve?
you have 2/46 ways to improve
you get 3-bet and outplayed 22.5x more than you improve.
you are charging overs, so that's good.
just hate for you to "info your way to a fold, if he 3-bets"
Capping flop makes more sense, over this play, imo.

Elaborate :-)
I really think its better then just call, call. He really must have balls to bluff me there.
How often do you think i get 3-bet, and how often do i get a free SD?

how is it a "Free Showdown"
it's more of a pre-paid showdown.

Even if he's stubborn, when he 3-bets, you're usually behind. So even if you have to call down, I'm not happy about it.
Against a dumb player, play it like a slowplayed monster. Call flop, raise turn. He won't get out of line on the turn, and you save yourself a BB when you're behind.

Outcome was, I raised, he folded the turn.
Looking back, i think the plan of just calling the flop and raising the turn has the same outcome, with less money invested. Ill take the call the flop, raise the turn line next time.
