The Costa Rican Tournament Poker Club was formed to provide the tournament poker players of Costa Rica an opportunity to play different tournament formats on a regular weekly tournament schedule. The Club will promote and manage its events at the Casino Europa’s card room located in the Radisson Hotel near downtown San Jose. Membership in the Club is FREE!

We have now launched our new website and are introducing our first event!
Our weekly tournaments will be every Wednesday beginning January 25, 2006
with satellites from 3 PM to 9 PM with Semi Finals at 10 PM and Finals at 11 PM.
Starting times are estimated. Events will be held at Casino Europa's Card Club located at the Radisson Hotel near downtown San Jose.

Wednesday Tournament Format

The format will be C15,000 buy-in TURBO No Limit Texas Holdem with 10 minute blinds starting at 25/50. Players may re-buy unlimited times for C 5,000 in the first 30 minutes for 1000 chips when their chip total is 500 or less.

Satellites will start when we have at least 2 players per table provided all players agree to play with less than 4 players.

Players will receive 1000 chips per buy-in and if they pre-register at the casino
OR online at our website, they will receive 100 extra bonus chips. Since these tourneys will be determined by table size etc you must pre -register for the tourny...you are not obligated to pay for the tournament until you actually arrive to play, pre-registering is free.
