I understand it's consistant with my virgo nature not to believe in astrology.


So when I first moved from the mid west ( where I didn't know anyone who took astrology seriously) to Olympia, one of the things I noticed about the town was that 70 percent of the people were into it. As in really thought that the month you were born really affects your personality, and that your astrological sign really does reflect who you are. I found this hysterical, as I think astrology is absolutely rediculous ( listening to stupid hippies explain to me that it was like the tides.. you know, gravitational pull on your brain when it's devoloping.. swear to god I've heard that 5 times or more. perhaps people don't realise that tidal pull is based on the moon, not the stars. The pull from the stars remains constant all year round) I realized that I'd need to keep my opinions to myself, for the most part, when I was at this party, and I was talking to this two cute evergreen college girls ( ie hippies)... I was chatting them up pretty good, making them laugh and what not. Then they asked me my sign, and I mentioned how in the midwest, we really aren't into astrology at all, and I think it's a joke. And they litereally were like . "oh" andthen turned their backs on me. Literally. Crazy stupid hippies.

I'm also a cancer. And cancer owns other signs.

I dismiss all of anyone’s doubts as further proof that it’s real. That’s why one of the characteristics of every sign it “doubts astrology”.
