That was some terrible play calling on that last drive. Why go deep when you need about 3 yards for a first down? On his last throw all Manning had to do was dump it off to James on his left and he could pick up yards and get out of bounds. All in all though it was a fun game to watch.

Vanderjagt (sp?) missed the kick..and he should feel bad about it..but Dungy or Manning..whoever is the coach of that team..HAS to get them in better FG position..you can't go deep on 3rd down like that and just ASSUME a 46 yard FG is automatic. ATROCIOUS play calling at the end.

I don't mind taking a shot on 2nd down, with Reggie Wayne 1 on 1 with a rookie, but on 3rd and 2 either run it or a quick slant, I have no idea what that play/pass was.

i agree that was a bad call. first get in easy field goal range, then go for the touchdown. though it isnt terrible to take a shot on second down like they did.

On second down..taking a shot is the right thing to do for sure...just on third and short like that..RUN THE F*CKING BALL!!! Simple as that..if you can't pick up two yards on perhaps the biggest play of the season..you just don't deserve to win.
