A Sound of Thunder was, far and away, the worst sci fi movie ever made. Not even BFE comes close. Google it, and read some reveiws.

BFE has some comedic value. There are a lot of REALLY bad movies, but many of them have some kind of incentive for watching. BG2 does not. (I like initials)

Come on, Baby Geniuses 2 has Scott Baio! No way can it be the worst movie ever.
I have not seen Sound of Thunder, but Battlefield Earth was god awful. How John Travolta still has a career after movies like that and Be Cool continues to amaze me.

We watched it in my sci-fi class in high school over a 5 day period. I was only able to actually watch a total of 5 minutes of it. The final was 90% questions about the movie

Thursday, January 12th, 2006, 5:24 PM
yea it was pretty easy i even did well on the final even thought i knew nothing about the movie because my teacher was an idiot. The questions on the final were like this.
1. Who is the leader of the Atreides
2. John Atreides is the leader of which group
If you got less than an A in that class you sucked at life.

Napoleon Dynamite and Fear and Loathing were very good IMO...
worst movie? I don't know if B movies count, but I saw this old horror movie (probably early 80s) that was definately the worst movie I"ve ever seen. I know 80s horror movies aren't mean to be good but this thing made Friday 13th look like Citizen Kane.

My favorite part of evolution is when they use what me and my friends call the "knighty knighty" maneuvuver, for figuring out that sesium was posionious to the aliens, 'cause what ever element is poisions to humans was two down, and one over from carbon, and sesioum was two down, and one over from what ever was the base element of the aliens. My roomate greg bought this movie, and I made fun of him when he bought it, 'cause i had seen it in the theater, and knew it was teh worst. He got all butt hurt about being made fun off, and I just laughed at him spending 16 bucks on it, or what ever.. and he kept defending it and my and my frined, the KRablar high priest, just kept laughing at him and the movie, laughing at the money he wasted. He got so pissed while we were watching it, 'cause he knew it sucked as he was watching it, but he was trying to like it, 'cause he had spend money on it, and to prove us wrong. Man, that movie sucks.
Liked battlefield Earth huh? Say hi to Tom and Katie for me at teh baby shower.

I saw house of 1000 corpses.. and it was... well.. different... kinda.. trancended traditional labels of good and bad. I understand devils rejects set a new film record for uses of the word "fuck"
I was posting the simpsons "stonecutters" song in another thread just now, and posted the line "w ho keeps steven guttenberg a star" and though..
Well. what's ole steve guttenberg up to these days? The ole stonecutters have been doing a crappy job keeping him a star.. and I found out...
A NEW POLICE ACADEMY MOVIE!!
Note, this is NOT like a remake, with a new cast remaking an ole classic with a hip new irony. THIS IS THE ORGINAL CAST!!! Hahhahahahhaah
I'm certain this movie's going to appear in this thread in a few months.

soon as i saw the post i knew this wascmy choice, glad to see someone else picked it.
saw it on my friends 14th birthday as a kid. his mom gave him two choices of movies to see. dune or beverly hills cop. Clown chose dune.
he became my ex-friend shortly thereafter.
i think ant sequel is DQ'd from being considered, especially if they were made many moons after the original(caddyshack2, slapshot 2, another 48 hrs) because expectations should already be so low.

There are some good nominees, but the worst movie ever was Captain America. You are all lucky that I have seen this movie for you. If enough people saw this movie, world wide anarchy would follow.
