I drive a Chrysler Sebring sedan, its friggin awesome. slate gray, power package. when my husband and i were on our honeymoon last year we had the chance to upgrade our rental car from a neon to a 300, and we took it. for $8.00 more a day, why the hell not? anyway, it is way overrated in my book. pimp-ass look and feel, plenty of nuts, but just not as awesome as i had imagined. i would have rather had my sebring. the windows are so small, very distracting. but to each his own.

I just bought a new car today. The lease my my blazer ran out recently, and I'm borrowing a friend's car.

So, I went up to the dealership and promptly dropped 45 hundo on a 1997 Lumina, with 55K miles on it,

It's maroon.

With a maroon interior.

It's easily the greatest car of all time, and I am so giddy right now. You should see me cruising in this thing. There are dents on the hood and on the front right bumper. No rust, though, which kinda sucks.

Bought it brand new when I was 17. Paid it off in 4 years, and still have it.

I'm going to need to get a new one in early fall this year before I have to do something expensive to fix this one (I don't think anything will go wrong with it since I've been the only owner, I just don't want something to happen that will cost me more $ to fix than what the car is worth).

I will probably buy a new 06 Honda Civic or Accord Hybrid. I was thinking of getting it around Aug/Sept unless there is still a shortage or whatever on Hybrids... maybe I should check at a dealership soon to see if there's a waiting list...

Seriously, Americans are great at many things. Unfortunately one of them isn't producing quality cars. Hence, BMW, Mercs, Porsche, Jags, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, ferrari etc etc etc.
