While I like Make Believe, I don't think it's better than Pinkerton, but it has some great songs like Hold Me, Peace, and Pardon Me. If some of the other songs were as good as those 3, I might agree with you.
As for which Weezer albums I like the best:

When I was in Middle School, I was a huge Metallica fan, so I have a soft spot for them. I got to meet the band backstage once, and they were pretty nice. Especially FakeReplacementBassist Jason Neustead, who I imagine is very insecure since everyone knows he's only there 'cause Cliff died.

Isn't the phrase "best songs" kind of subjective? If that's what he likes, then that's what he likes....personally I can't listen to anything they released after the Black Album. I much prefer the `80s stuff, even though I don't listen to any of it anymore. The video for "One" creeped me out when I was a kid too...

Real Metallica fans agree that "And Justice for All" is the greatest Metallica album. I happen to agree, though Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are both right behind.
The Black album is a lot more accessible, but it's definitely less "Metallica" than their earlier stuff. That was when they decided "Fu

I don't think the Black Album is best at all, prolly my 3rd or 4th fav Metallica album. I used those songs because those are the most popular and most well known to someone not a fan of Metallica. I just think this is such a damn cool album. It just never lulls, and everything Pollard writes is just so NEAT. I mean, fucking "Gold Star for Robot Boy"- what an awesome song. How he crammed so many good pop songs into one sub 40min album is mindboggling
