Just heard a song on Sirius radio that I've always <3'd. Haven't heard it in a few years.
Ha-Ha! Well now, we call this the act of mating
But there are several other very important differences
Between human beings and animals that you should know about
I'd appreciate your input
Sweat baby sweat baby sex is a Texas drought
Me and you do the kind of stuff that only Prince would sing about
So put your hands down my pants and I'll bet you'll feel nuts
Yes I'm Siskel, yes I'm Ebert and you're getting two thumbs up
You've had enough of two-hand touch you want it rough you're out of bounds
I want you smothered want you covered like my Waffle House hashbrowns
Come quicker than FedEx never reach an apex just like Coca-Cola stock you are inclined
To make me rise an hour early just like Daylight Savings Time
Do it now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now
Love the kind you clean up with a mop and bucket
Like the lost catacombs of Egypt only God knows where we stuck it
Hieroglyphics? Let me be Pacific I wanna be down in your South Seas
But I got this notion that the motion of your ocean means "Small Craft Advisory"
So if I capsize on your thighs high tide, B-5 you sunk my battleship
Please turn me on I'm Mister Coffee with an automatic drip
So show me yours I'll show you mine "Tool Time" you'll Lovett just like Lyle
And then we'll do it doggy style so we can both watch "X-Files"
Do it now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now

The last few days has been alot of Meadowlands. The Wrens are a band that almost never get mentioned in here, and I'd encourage you all to listen to Meadowlands.

Oh, yeah. I've had that album for a while, and it's pretty darn good. It's great to listen to either to just mellow out or to have in the background or even to really focus on the music and melodies and listen carefully. It's very versatile.

I've been in a very hip-hoppy mood lately, so I made a mix with:
Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor
Pharoahe Monch's Internal Affairs
a few random Biggie songs
a few random Nas songs
Then shuffle. It's nice.
Also been listening to Peter, Bjorn & John and Grizzly Bear. I'll be seeing Grizzly Bear and Feist at the end of June.

Don't forget Lady Sovereign.
No, I've never been a huge Dizzee Rascal fan, but only because I've never spent alot of time listening. What I've heard I enjoy okay.
But The Streets cannot be missed. Original Pirate Material and A Grand Don't Come for Free should be compulsory listening for... well, if it were up to me, it'd be compulsory listening for anyone, but that might be a little much. So maybe it should just be compulsory listening for fans of hip-hop.
On a similar note (the UK), the new album by The Clientele (
God Save the Clientele) is out. I know MK is excited. I'm downloading it right now, and shall commence listening... NOW.

Those lyrics were courtesy of Google. I pasted it for everybody to sing along to. Very comical song.
Just saying I hadn't heard it in forever...and there is very legit reasoning for this.

To be perfectly honest, I thought there was some kind of question in the post. Like "Who is this" or "What is this" or "???." I think I ran bad yesterday or something, because I was in a pretty pissy mood most of the night. Some silly c
unt was just check-raising the **** out of me when some complete blank like an offsuit J rolled off the deck, and then showing down Jacks full. Except it was happening nonstop for like 2 hours, and I was just losing my mind. The kicker was when I finally got tired of it and hammered the s
hit out of her on a 77Q board when I'd flopped queens full. The dealer just peeled another seven off on the turn, and I had to check/fold.
I didn't tilt for a moment at the poker table, but I'm pretty sure I was on stone life-tilt.
Anyway, I'm retarded.

I think I've gone through that "songrepeat" phase with every song on that album. A girl I knew who had an unrequited thing for me used to give me music suggestions, and she sent me "King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. I." I listened to it, and I was just thinking "What the f
uck?" A few weeks later I listened again, and it was kinda catchy, so I downloaded the whole album and figured out what all the hub-bub was about.
A few years back, a good friend of mine had a younger brother who killed himself. It was a big service, and alot of people spoke, and he and his sister were scheduled to go last. They didn't know what to say, and since he was a pretty good musician and she was a relatively talented vocalist, they played "Two-Headed Boy" and "Two-Headed Boy Part 2." I'm not one to get emotional at the drop of a hat, but I'm willing to admit the performance was enough to get my eyes a little watery.
Anyway, right now I'm in the mood for a little shoegaze, so I'm starting with Twilight Sad-
Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters. Probably just going to end up listening to
Loveless halfway through, though.

Have I taken the lead yet in the awesomematrix (one word? I can't remember.) Perhaps we're done with that joke. I really hope not, because I think I may have a legitimate shot at taking it down.
Like Wang, I've done the repeat thing for every track, the only album it's ever happened for me. Modest Mouse is coming close with "We were dead...", but they will fail.

In the spirit of my forthcoming gun, I'm pounding gangsta' rap, and for the newly converted sudohipster, only Ghosty 'll do (I'm told Pitchfork really loves him. To be honest I don't really like the site, but I'm sure a lotta' what you turn me onto, they had some hand in publicizing to the point where I know about it at all, but the layout is horrible...I'm going to tale this off because the close parenthese is giving way under the sheer weight of my malformed thought). I really don't understand what's so great about Fishscale, though; Supreme Clientele is 10 times as good. The Champ was incredibly sick, but as a whole, it's maybe my fourth favorite Ghostface album.
While looking into it, though, I did find t
