QUOTE (ArseneLupin3)
With as few as two tables open, large portions (if not all) of my table will be blacked out like this. This has nothing to do with pokerace HUD, as it happens both when it is open and when it isn't. The common thread is that 2 or more tables are open when this happens. I have 2 monitors with an NVIDIA GF6800 GT. That may be relevant. This problem makes the table nearly unplayable. Often when I close the table, I the problem moves to another.
In addition, the software will use absurd amounts of cpu (70%+ on an athlon 64 3500+). This often happens when no tables are open, when the reconnect button appears in the lobby.
I would like to continue to play on this site after I clear my bonus, but bugs like this are making it difficult for me to consider that.
Hi ArseneLupin, I'm going go pass your post on to the techs to get an opinion but I have a couple questions for you.
Are you running a lot of other programs on the computer at the same time as you're playing ? For Example with your 2 monitor set up are you also running other poker sites at the same time or playing audio or video files at the same time ?
How much RAM do you have on your computer and in how many different chips. I believe the 3500+ works better is you have more than 1 RAM chip, for example 2 256 Meg RAM chips will perform better than 1 512 meg chip.
That being said I anticipate the techs saying this is a case of the cache memory on your computer getting overloaded. When this happens the software's graphics can sometimes do some strange things. Also, have you had the same experience using the Java version of the software or only on the download ?
