MP3 is 35/2.3 after about 65 hands
UTG+1 is 80/20 after 25 hands
No reads on MP2

Great table, average 6-8 players per flop, one huge pot after another.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q:diamond:, K:spade:.
1 fold, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Should I be three betting this? I figured with my position on the remainder of the hand as well as the possibility of a cap a call is correct here.

Flop: (10 SB) 3:diamond:, K:club:, 8:club: (5 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

I didn't give UTG+1 a whole lot of credit due to his stats. With the cap though, I'm thinking he flopped a set.

Turn: (14 BB) 7:diamond: (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

How's this? Kind of a feeler bet, if I'm three bet, I go into call down mode due to the size of the pot.

River: (20 BB) 6:heart: (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 23 BB

Any suggestions, criticisms?

preflop: don't 3-bet.
KQ off is not a super multiway hand, and inflating the pot OOP with it against a large field, not so good (unless you are a super stud post fop, I guesss)

flop: c/r. I hope MP3 bets outs again and I give field a fist full of 2 cold. What your doing here is building a big pot, not so good.
Call a 3-bet.

(Capping, in no way signifies a set)

Lead this safe turn whether you are 3-bet or not on flop
Call down if raised

River is good.

thats my thoughts...

fold preflop. KQo is occassionally worth playing against a pf raise, but not against this guy.

even getting over 4:1 likely?
65 hands not much to say..plus he also plays 35% of hands, therfore, we know we'll outplay him!..

you're probably right though.
I don't like to encourage preflop folding.

Yeah... I'm also in favor of folding preflop.

KQo is a tough hand to play sometimes. It doesn't do well against a raise AT ALL, and it doesn't do well in multiway pots, and it doesn't have A-high strength for showdown value. It's very easily dominated.

I three-bet with it if I know the preflop raiser is getting out of line, but I think this is an easy fold most of the time.

No, your position (SB) and the possibity of a cap if you 3-bet is why a fold is correct here.

Buit if you do play it, 3-bet. If you just call (BAD!), then you should check raise the flop when a K hits to protect your marginal hand in that big pot

And I like to take the fun out of the game. :-)
