after this hand, villain starts bitching and moaning about what a bad play i made, how "there was no way you could have thought you had the best hand" etc. etc.
before i get into my reasons why i felt i did, in fact, have the best hand (there are only 2 really), i'm looking for some feedback.
oh and by the way, this hand happened exactly 10 minutes later. you will notice distinct similiarities. this guy really is a turd.

1. overall good play, id play it differently on the flop though, im scared of an overcard to my 10's hitting on 4th or 5th, so I reraise his $10 min c/r. I'd slap out $22-$25 and see where i'm at then, rather than waiting for the turn and letting him suck out on me
2. great hand, love the raise on the flop and call down the rest of the way. this guy is way too LAG, good job

nice one.
The turn was the easiest part of the hand, he already bet out $20, so it was only costing another $14-something.
1st hand: You must have had a pretty good read on this guy. You probably could have reraised the flop, after he check/raised the min, but other than that, nice play.
2nd hand: Again great play. Alot of people might have been inclined to raise the turn against the min bet, but what if he reraises, or pushes, it puts you to the test there, i much rather the call down.

hey thanks for the feedback, i had just sat at the table so i didnt have a read on him on the first hand... i just didnt buy the minimum checkraise on the flop, it didnt add up to me... was more intuition than anything.. not that i didnt think he could call my raise out of position with 87 i just didnt believe it for some reason
then on the turn like ^ this guy said, it was only another 14 more on top of his bet, and looking at the size of the pot at that moment i really felt like i was 60/40 or better to have the best hand at that time... and i was getting better than 60/40 for the rest of my chips relative to the pot.. so i pushed.. luckily i was right and the guy wasnt just being a donk with a gutshot on the flop min checkraising me...
the other possibility of course would have been a set, but there again the min checkraise dooesnt seem to make sense either, i wait til the turn to pull that move if im him... hes putting me on 2 high cards or a med/big pair most likely, and there are really no cards (very few, anyway) on the board that should appear threatening, if he allows me to see a free turn...
to me his min check raise in that situation on a 5 way table is more like a "i think you have ak and you are trying to buy the pot in position when you missed" type move on his part, just trying to push me off the hand because he thinks second pair is best... like i said, luckily i was right
now the second hand, after having gone through what i did in the first hand, i was more 75/25 that i had the best hand, it was easy to call him down there
