High Stakes Poker popped up on my Tivo ToDo list. The first 2 episodes will air January 16 on GSN.

Who's the guy in the middle?

I wish I had GSN just for this show; I'm having a friend record it for me...

It was supposed to be on last nite, all I saw was the intro and some commercials looped over and over.

AJ frickin Benza? buwahahahahaha

It's coming on in roughly an hour and a half here. Can't wait to see it. Hopefully it's actual poker and not a bunch of intros.

Just saw the 1st show last night. Thought it was pretty good.

DN had a really good rush. Ted Forrest lost a pretty big one (I dont want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet).

I actually prefer to watch cash games rather than tournaments so my opinion maybe a little biased. But all together it was a good show. Wish they showed more.

I agree, I learned more watching that show on Monday than all the other TV poker I've ever seen.

first 2 eps? I only saw one, and it was only an hour long, which was extremely disappointing, considering half of the time was commercials and pointless vignettes about some idiot talking about "how to dress like a poker player"

That said, the poker itself was great to watch, and I wish this show was longer, with less BS.

It still was the best poker I've seen on TV by far though.

It was only one episode but was repeated a few times. For some reason, the program description was not the same for all episodes.
