I just wanted to say that I have been very impressed with the FCP poker support team. I know people have complained about support on other sites but here all my questions have been answered quickly and nicely and all my issues have been resolved in a generous manner. I know people who work in these type of positions usually only hear the bad stuff so I just wanted to let them get positive feedback too. Thanks 8)

Do others agree that FCP support is better than other sites?
Who is the worst?

I had a pleasant experience with the live rep last night over a $ transfer issue. That's my only experience, but it was a good one. On another note, I don't know if it's fixed yet, but the search option on the site is convenient, but has been down recently.

My brief time at FCP has had its ups and downs and the support staff have been there to help, until 2 days ago.

After having disconnect issues while playing in MTT's off and on for a week, I was disconnect from a tourney Wednesday morning and unable to reconnect, along with others I believe. The tourney was frozen for 1 hour and then removed from the board.

I was told there have been server problems and there would be an investigation, and any refunds would follow. It's been nearly 60 hours now, this is quite a long time in my opinion to find the problem?

I continue to enjoy playing at the ring tables but am not confident at the thought of playing any more MTT;s right now.
I wait patiently for a response.

Congrats to last nites Vegas winners, especially enjoyed Croc's play,WTG.

Hi Nexuss, the refund for the tourney you had the problem in was made to your poker account by the network. I'm not sure when it was put in your account but it's there now.

I assume we're talking about a $5 + $0.50 Turbo from Wed morning. The amount you were refunded was based on chip count and you received more than the $5.50.

There is a bit of a weakness in the Network system when a tournament gets cancelled while in progress for a technical reason. It sometimes takes the Network longer than everybody would like to get the situation settled and for the money to be refunded back to the player's poker accounts. As well FCP isn't specifically notified that the Network has refunded the money to an account. I'm not trying to excuse a delay, I'm just trying to let you know how things work.

If you wish to discuss your particular account feel free to e-mail info@fullcontactpoker.com .

Thanks for the info. I was expecting an email, but I understand the communication problems. It would be nice if the refund was indicated in account statement so there is no question whether in was returned or not.

Thanks again.

Yes it is a weakness in the system and something that should be improved on.

I enjoy seeing FCP Info answer questions on the boards. They have answered mine and was very helpful. It is so much easier, especially when you are not in a particular rush, to just post a note and have the post answered.
Thanks for the good work FCP Info.

Well FCP support, why is the hand history loading up so slow right now, I cant look at a hand that happened 5 mins ago?

It's been my experience that the hand histories get delayed like this sometimes. I don't know why it happens but it does. I'm sure there is a techno babble explanation about the hand history generator being reset or delayed for some reason. This has been the case at all the Network rooms that I have played at in the past as well.

I hope this is something that the techs can keep to a minimum in the future.

it started working faster a little bit later, but also why does it not show your hand unless you showdown. I think it should tell you what hand you had everytime, like the other sites.

I'm shooting a bit in the dark with this one but I'm pretty sure I'm correct.

On one of the Poker Network sites your hand is shown on the hand history but only players dealt in on a hand can call up a hand history. On all the other Poker Network sites I've played on it's like the histories on FCP, your hand is only shown on the history if you're in at showdown but people not dealt in the hand can access hand histories.

I've put this on a list of things that we will see about improving,

I definitely love the support on this site, and it's probably the main reason I play at FCP. For the most part, I don't like the software and I don't like the high rakes (compared to FTP where I also play). But with support this good, I'm sure the site will get better with time.
Silver_Crayons
Oh yeah, and I can't say much for the 8-10 day cashout time period for Firepay users...
Mcs1024
yeah i def. agree that most supports stink! I waited 3 days for pokerroom to email me back but FCP Support was all over it! Very Good To See!
Steppin Razor
I also have had very good experiences with support. Only thing is, I think FCP is not especially user friendly, so I've had to bug support more than other sites.
For example, I don't know how to get hand histories at all. I can get the stats, but don't see where I can get my hand histories. Every other online room I've played on, getting hand histories is easy. Just click on the 'email me last X hands' or 'request hand history', or the best, it's automatically saved on my hard drive. I love that feature on P*.

Hi Steppin Razor, for the ring games if you have statistics enabled on the download client a record of your hand histories is stored on your hard drive in a data base file. There isn't a facility to have your hand histories e-mailed to you I'm afraid and tournament hand histories aren't stored on the hard drive.
Steppin Razor
Cool. I just have to find them now tongue.gif .
I suggest adding a few more, 'even a dummy can figure it out'-style features. We dummies like that kind of stuff.

I agree.. FCP charter member support is exceptional... The things that I don't like about this site are easier to overlook when you are dealing with such helpful people.

Empire / Party support is the WORST. You have to call India and NO ONE speaks english.
