Anyone watching this on ESPN Classic. Mike Matusow is in the crowd and looks pretty ridiculous. I can't wait for the, "You call this its all over baby"

That's awesome. Yeah, I saw Mike in the crowd. Just a little tidbit of info. Going back all the way to like the '94 WSOP ME, there's a guy named Blair Rodman that was in the crowd and it appears that he's in the crowd on every one of them all the way up to present day. Not only that but Blair has done well in WSOP events placing in top 5 of some events. He came in 2nd to Arnold Spree in a WPT event that featured Phil Ivey if you remember that one. I just thought that was interesting. Not only that, Blair is card counter and probably has made a boatload card counting. I just think it's interesting how he's in the audience at all of these events.

I Tivo all the old ME's on ESPN Classic, and I just watched the '93 and '94 events. Has anyone seen the '93 coverage where they interview Ted Forrest (he won 3 bracelets that year) and they describe him as part of the "new guard"?
His mullett is truly something to behold.

Yep, his mullett and holy geez, his eyebrows are like Lou Ferigno or Incredible Hulk.
Ted Forrest reminds of a few kids in my high school that always knew a whole lot about things that the classroom never taught you. Like the kid who knows how to hack into the CIA or something but never does his English homework.

LOL...thank god for TIVO.
How about the Dick Van Patten commentary?
I din't think someone could be worse than VInce Van Patten. Now I know where "wired pair" came from.
I'll take Gabe Kaplan any day :!:

i downloaded the 81 it was hosted by curt gowdy and was a million times better - they showed hole cards -
I mean the penultimate hand on that 93 show was like the most outrageous hand i've ever seen and they barely even analyzed it
Dick Van Patten basically put someone one the nuts every time they made a bet
