I really don't like the way I played the flop. What would your flop line have been?

I called the river because I saw the 200 bucks in the pot, and decided if I won, I'd buy a fifth and finish it in an hour.

I 3-bet the flop. Standard from there on out.

I 3-bet the flop. We're in position and its 4 way anyway.

I've really tried to cut capping the flop after not betting/raising or 3-betting out of my game because I feel its pretty easy for good players to pick up that we are doing it because our equity is good and that we are most likely on a flush draw in these spots.

Did you like the call 2/cap line? Or would you rather have seen me put a 3rd bet in right away?

3-betting the flop kind of sucks. It usually is going to get you in to more trouble than its worth. Just calling and seeing how the turn plays out is the pro move.

either one is fine as long as you dont fold.

if the board was 952 instead i think 3-betting would be far better.

nice to have you back methinks.

hand looks fine. i think folding the river, even with two behind you would be a mistake. it's pretty doubtful you're going to win the game, but the pot is far too big to fold. if someone raises behind you, then you have a tough (i.e. painful) fold.

flop 3-bet is fine if the players behind you are passive and will be no more scared away by a 3-bet than they were by a 2-bet, but i think in general a 3-bet shuts out a lot of people that you might want in, since your overcards are probably not valuable.
