no one ever posts in here after the wednesday tourney any longer. so i'll go for it.

i totally donked off all my chips in 2 hands and i dont deserve to finish in the top nine for the quarter.

i registered for this knowing that i wouldnt be able to play when it started and may not even be able to play at all. i just needed the points desperately. so i do finally make it after auto-folding my way down to 770 chips. blinds were at 75/150. i push a couple times and steal the blinds. the 4th time i am going to push, someone pushes before me. i have aces. STOKED! i call and win. moving up!

i get 8s a few hands later. call a few limpers on the button. flop trips. moving up even more. i start running well and build the ole chip stack up to 8800. i'm in the top 10. i can see another final table, securing my top nine finish in the quarter.

then it happens. the dreaded table move. i comment about the table move in the chat box and how sh1tty it is to move when you are on a roll. 3 hands later. i'm done.

i donked off 1900 of my stack with pocket 5s against pocket 10s.

i'm in the BB with ace/jack when blinds are 200/400. early position makes it 1000. button calls. lots of chips out there and it only costs me 600 to call. pot odds. shmot odds. maybe if i had 8, 6 or something...

i'll stop there. i lose to ace/king when i flop top pair. i'm a donkey. i hate ace / jack. i laugh at people who play it after there is a raise preflop. yet i did the same. I'M AWESOME! gg not me.

OK Guys this is not a HUGE deal, but it is a mistake that was made ....

Not going into the long boring story about how it happened, but the results on the 06/14/06 page of the website are incorrect by a "tiny bit" I will get the correct results uploaded to that page soon. It effected only those that played in the 06/14/06 tourney. Again these are not BIG point difference, but nonetheless I want it to be 100% correct since the last tournament of this leaderboard period is this week.

There were 563 unique players this quarter.

There were a total of 1661 total buyins this quarter.

There were 296 people that only played 1 tournament.

There were 14 people who played all 13 tournaments and 6 of those 14 made the top 9.

Daniel played in 5 of the 13 tournaments this quarter.


Remember everyone now has a fresh start and all the points have been reset back to zero. The first tournament of the 3rd quarter is this upcoming Wednesday July 5th. Good luck to everyone in the third quarter!

First of all thank you so much for all the work you put into this, it has been great fun (and will continue to be).

Secondly don't forget, because Poguemahone made the top 9 last quarter, I believe meservery gets into the top 36 TOC at the end of the year, no?

Finally, I would like to say BOOYA, the jersey is mine!!!

This is partially true, but not exactly. There will be 36 people that advance to the TOC. If there happens to be duplicates in the top 9 (example being pogue made it to the top 9 the first quarter and this 2nd quarter) then we will go to the person with the next highest points until a full field of 36 is established. The next highest points person(s) could be from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th quarter.

Right now that person happens to be meservery cause #10 in the first quarter only has 496.08 and meservery has 605.56, but if #10 next quarter has 606+ then that person would get the first open seat.

Hope that makes sense.

Wow, I would have thought you would have taken the next highest from the quarter where the duplication took place. Kinda sucks for bubble boy next quarter if there are only 12 weeks instead of 13...makes a big difference. Oh well.

Its a good point if there happens to be a different number of weeks, but at the end of the day if someone in quarter 1 had say 700 points and the bubble boy in quarter 4 had 600 points, but there just happened to be a duplication that quarter (which there is no chance for a duplication in the first quarter obviously) then someone with less points would advance.

If I understood the rules correctly, I think both meservery and nutzbuster will qualify for the 36-player TOC unless the #10 finishers in Quarters #3 and #4 accumulate more than 605.56 points. If only one of these #10 finishers score more than meservery's 605.56 points (or nutzbuster's 605.20 points), then meservery will be in the TOC but nutzbuster will be bumped. If both #10 finishers from Quarters #3 and #4 score more than 605.56 points, then both meservery and nutzbuster would be bumped.

Another scenario that could happen though is that one or more of the previous top 9s finish #10 in Quarters #3 and/or #4. In this case, I guess the above rules would apply except you would look at the points for #11 and so on. OK, my head is starting to hurt now We'll worry about this if/when it happens!
