Hey Vatche,
When you called my A7 all-in with your 76, you said afterward something about being priced to call... I didnt catch all you said, but anyway... I'm just curious how you figured this out. If I remember corectly, I had about 3200 to your 22,000 and you had 600 in from BB.
I'm just trying to work on my 'math skills' and I figured you could explain this to me fairly quickly. This is a sincere post, I'm not trying to rag you out or anything...
Thanks dude.
hey ignition...
i had between 35k-40k(cant remember)...i dont remember how much u had, but i remember looking down at the pot amount and call amount and i was getting 2 to 1 to make the call...was it questionable, ya, but not a donk play...if i known u had me dominated, obvioulsly i wouldve dumped it...tough hand for u to go out on.
as far as ur play goes...u waited too long to go all in and got dwindled and lost ur fold equity...its much better to push from mid-late position with rags(as long as ur the 1st one in the pot) while u still have fold equity than to push UTG with a weak Ace knowing the bb has a huge stack and is getting laid 2 to 1...
nice playing with u, hope to see u next week.

Having played a fair shares of games against Vatche in the Protege tournaments (way too much if you ask me!), I am guessing that he was reasoning that you had 2 overs vs. his 2 live cards. Assuming neither of you held soooted cards, he was roughly a 38% dog preflop. Looks like you pushed with 3,200 and assuming SB folded, there was at least 4,100 (3200 + 300 SB + 600 BB) in the pot and it was costing him another 2,600 to call from the BB, which offered him roughly 1.6 to 1 (more if there were dead money in the pot other than from the SB) and sufficient pot odds if he was indeed only a 38% dog.
Then again, I could be over-analyzing his thought process here since he's called me off in the same situation with 2 3 off (and won) so 7 6 might just be a no-brainer call for the "Suck-Out Artist"
lolll...just trying to live up to the tittle bro.

Good job on the 4th pl finish last night, I kinda sucked real bad and should have known I was beat before pushing all in.
I could not catch a break, on three occasions I made good raises pre flop and had at least 2 callers, and then went on to miss the flop, example, me 99 raise, flop A Q J
Doing my quick math looks like you are close to breaking into the top 20, with me being close to dropping out of the top 20.
i think ur still in the top 20, and i think im going to be 20th or 21st...i think im going to need to top 3 to make it...
gl to u next week.
