I want to thank the software engineers for the wonderful string of cards in the first round tonight. Kudos boys.

23rd. Pissed away a huge stack on 2 successive hands; an AK that I should have dropped after the all-in re-raise, and the pair of 3s that I overplayed into a pair of Queens before the flop as well. Propelled by hot cards to tourney leader by the first break and stayed in the top 10 until I donked myself out-I love it when I make dumbass moves like that. Well it was a nice run while it lasted, maybe next week I can finally break into the final table. See y'all next week!

OK last week and this weeks INDIVIDUAL tournament pages have been uploaded to the leaderboard website. The cumulative statistics take a little bit longer and I will upload them as soon as dabluebery is finished compiling them.

Figger - the Vegas trip was awesome, there was about a dozen FCP people and we have a lot of great pictures and we're gonna get some in general and maybe even on the main FCP page. We got to meet Daniels new assistant Patty and take her to dinner and play a nice little $3/$6 mix game with her which was alot of fun. We wont mention that Patty went bust and I had to stake her $100 though She came back and paid off her debt

Just found out that I finished in 5th after losing power at the house last night. i think it went out when there were 8 left.

I was wondering what stradegy you were employing there at the end.

It's called pissed off at the electrical company, yelling and screaming trying to report an outage and figure out were I could access a public computer at that time of night within 10-15 minutes.

But, had I been able to play, I probably would have donked it off like DNA.

Good to be lucky sometimes

Tonight was the first time I was able to play in this event. I took 9th place. I think it's really well run by dna and all, but I don't think I'm going to play again. Basically, the tournament is slow moving and skillful until it counts. As soon as the money matters, it's a total crapshoot. This is probably just a problem with the way the tournaments are structured on the software, but it really discouraged me.

Was cool to meet everyone I see on the forums though.

You should come back and play again; it really is a good league. And it's fun to wait all week and prematurely ejaculate in your pants right after the date begins. Or you can just go back to TheBestHandAlwaysHoldsUp.com. Or Stars. Or better yet, PartyPoker...

A combination of bad beats and donk plays kept me busting out around the mid-field previously. I nearly made the final table this time, and hope to maintain my momentum next week!

Agreed Mr. English but it's actually kinda a tight race with alot of possibilites with 4 weeks left. I jumped over 80 spots in 2 weeks. I still need a strong finish, but eh, like you said, anythings possible. And by the way, I've had a lot of frustration with the new site as you have, but I'm glad I stuck it out. I love the tourney structure and I'm alot more compfortable with the software as well. Well, good luck.

I dont know, with only 3 left people are going to start dropping off making points available less, 12 place finish this week only moved me up 7 spots and I bet I need two 1st out of the last 3 to get into top 9, unless everybody in the top 20 really start to donk out early in each match. Looks like missing that one week is really gonna hurt my chances.
But at least it will be an exciting finish
