Hi, it's the school teacher again... if you read "Where there is smoke, there is fire" post, this insanity just follows nicely.
I take my $400+ loss in stride , and try to withdraw my remaining initial deposit. I do so on 12-26. I have not received any money in my firepay account. Support tells me that even though they approved the withdrawal, a third party company has to approve the trasnaction which takes 7-9 business days.
I cannot beleive this can be accurate. No other poker site takes this long. Again, something just does not seem right. I will say it again.. where there is smoke, there is fire.
** You are now speaking with Joti - Full Contact Poker Support, Full Contact Poker Support. **
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : Hello.
Mamaloogie : hi,
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : How can I help you.
Mamaloogie : I cashed out 70.17 . and firepay never received the money... in order for firepay to locate it, they need their transaction number , which is 8 digits long (and it starts with a 7 or 8)...
Mamaloogie : My id is ... Mamaloogie
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : Thank You , one moment please.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : The withdrawal that you made with firepay has been approved from our side, but before it goes into your account it goes to a third party company that has to approve it that is the process that takes 7-9 business days.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : I understand this process is very frustrating and I would like to apologize for the inconvienance.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : Was there anything else I can help you with?
Mamaloogie : this is not what the web says is policy
Mamaloogie : it says money will be sent in 24-48 hours
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : It takes 24-48 hours to be approved from our side.
Mamaloogie : How can you tell me it takes 9 days to receive $70?
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : I do apologize but we are a third party company this is what we are told and therfore we notify the players we dont make the decision of how long the process would take, If I had the oppurtunity to change this I would, but I do not have the authority to do that.
Mamaloogie : ty, what are the withdrawal numbers i asked for..?
Mamaloogie : ..and Joti , I hope this conversation is accurate because it is going straight up on the FCP message board when I am done.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : Basically its 8 digit number that you recieve when you make an account with firepay. We are looking into this issue as to why Firepay is asking for this number.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : Honestly, I would not lie to you and disclose any wrong information with you. This is what I am told to tell our players.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : I do apologize on behalf of firepay and FCP.
Mamaloogie : Firepay has nothing to do with it, but ty
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : Was there anything else I can assist you with today?
Mamaloogie : yes, what is the firepay tracking number??
Mamaloogie : i was given 2 numbers by prior conversations
Mamaloogie : one.. 20051227185742260516000000
Mamaloogie : and the other ,,, 85808
Mamaloogie : you.,. only give me a story
Mamaloogie : the other reps NEVER mention anything about 7-10 days
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : We are a third party company , we are like the middle men of this we dont make any decisions, this is what we are told to let the players know and that it what we do.
Joti - Full Contact Poker Support : As for the tracking number or the 8 digit number as I said before when you first made your account with Firepay you should have recieved an 8 digit number from them.
Mamaloogie : well, i have been on here for 25 min and have been dragged to the river on this one,,., i know you are doing your best with what info you have... thanks for your time..
Btw, do you notice how support never asked me for any personal information , thereby not protecting my identity? I am to believe that they are verifying my $70 for two weeks for my protection, yet they never ask me for my name. IN OTHER WORDS, if I know your screen name, I can start a conversation about your account too!
Do you think I should try to put in Kidpoker into the account name field on the support screen and see what happens? :-)
On a positive note, Joti did keep her cool during the conversation and did not get rude, with that I give her a thumbs up.

My experiences with cashing out have not been as catastrophic as yours, though they are still pending. I would like to comment that I have only talked to csr's who have been very polite and well-meaning- I would like to compliment the FCP staff on hiring such positive employees.
That said, they are also some of the most uninformed employees. When I initially called to see whether I would need ID verification for my Nexum withdrawal I was told that because of my status as a charter member with previously entered information I would not need to provide any further documentation.
After then attempting to withdraw I was sent an email requesting verification because the amount was greater than $200. I immediatly called cs to figure this out and I was told that indeed I needed to withdraw $200 or less. So naturally I attempt this transaction, hoping to atleast get some of my money out. I used the nexum withdrawal application and after completing it the header said something to the amount of "Check Request being processed."
I persisted by calling the csr a third time and was told that in fact I needed to provide ID information for Nexum (using the FCP process) in order to withdraw with said company. I then sent in my information to be told by csr that they hope I have identity verification already in place with Nexum and that in fact the documentation I provided was for FCP's use, who I thought didn't need it.
I hope that the last csr was only confused about the ID verif. relationship between FCP and Nexum. Nevertheless I think my experience shows that despite their politeness, the representatives at FCP are quite lacking in knowledge and understanding of the withdrawal process.
In addition to this series I was also told by a live chat rep that he was "unaware" that FCP pools its cash games with Pokerrooom and Hollywood Poker. I only figured this out by logging in under my pokerroom ID and observing the game I was playing on FCP while securely logged in on each site. Has FCP made any precautions to ensure that players cannot play in the same game as themselves on a different site? The csr was taken aback at this revelation of mine and informed me, polite as he was, that he would talk to his manager- but is this how csr's get their information?

Hi violaman, thank you for your post as it'll help us with our front line support.
I'll address the issue of playing in a game from two different sites at the same time. The Network has security measures in place to prevent this from happening. Observing a table and sitting down and playing are treated as two different things.
