Pokerstars 10+1 tourney..

So im shortstacked. I pick up AKo in the small blind and see a UTG 3X raise, a min reraise and a quick call by another. It looks to me like im way behind, but im also shortstacked. My thoughts are the min reraise was saying GO ALL IN, and the quick call by another signaled yet another big hand. Easy call or easy laydown?

Your M is 7 and you're way behind the other players left in the tourney - I take a shot here and push. You'll probably get at least two callers but at this stage, I'm willing to gamble to triple up.

Yeah, and you have to remember this is just a $10 tourney and there is no guarantee any of them even has a pp higher than 10s. I say push and take your shot here, and hope to get lucky against a few players.

Agreed. Also, to OP, dont post results till after you get a few responeses. Anyone who might have argued for a fold definitly wont because the results will skew there thinking. But, you have to push here with such a low M. As you can see, many douche's in these tournies vastly overplay hands

My "vs good player" response is fold, despite the results, but this is obviously not a good player hand! The re-raise totally threw me, and gagged when I saw it was KQ!

The problem vs. good players is that you very often will be up against a pair and another big A, which makes you a 3:1 dog getting 2:1 odds.

With an M of 7 the primary goal is first in vigorish, and with two EP raises you dont have it.

OBviously the $10 buy in answer is go for it, you just might be a 2:1 favorite GETTING 2:1 odds!

If you're going to say stuff like this, it's best to turn your chat off before Stars support turns it off for you. It's pretty hard to negotiate a deal in a tournament when your chat has been revoked.

Stars gives back temp-chat when you make final tables.

You made a good lay down. Don't let the results skew what the right play was. Without the reraise, an all-in would be appropriate, but with the reraise and the quick call, if you are a good poker player, live to see another day.

BTW, the results show, assuming the guy who said he had QQ actually had it, that you only had 4 outs as an Ace and King were already out there. Stay focused on the right play and keep doing the right thing.
