Sorry all you Giant fans out there but we layed a butt kicking on you as bad as we demolished the Cowboys.
I said this at the beginning of the year, I kept the faith at 5-6, and I said this before the Cowboys game...for those of you who know me its been on my AIM profile since September
"This will be the year the Skins make the Superbowl as a wildcard(10-6)"
I didn't say win the Superbowl, but playoff time is Gibbs time. We're going to be riding a 5-game winning streak. We already killed the Giants, knocked off the Bears in Chicago, and beat the Seahawks. 10-2 in the NFC. There is no team that can definitely beat us. They'll all be close games, but the SKINS WILL PREVAIL!

My first job selling cars was in Silver Spring, MD. The used car manager there was the gentleman you see on every Redskins game dressed in the indian headress and such. Really a nice guy. We used to speak often, but since I moved from the area we have lost touch.

Skins are the hottest team going into the playoffs. Two straight absolute spankings of division rivals Cowboys and Redskins. We still have a chance of winning the NFC East even. Let's see, Eli and the Giants are having their usual late season meltdown - loss in the first round. We've proven we can beat TB at TB. Once we get to the divisional round we are going to shock the NFL by winning at Seattle. Portis trumps Alexander. Then we'll got Chicago or Carolina and do the unthinkable, go from 5-6 to Superbowl participants!
If we play the colts we might lose 31-17, but hey, I've said it all along and I'll say it again....SKINS TO THE SUPERBOWL

you can't say the NFL is rigged when we thoroughly dominated the Giants. No matter if they called 20 penalties on us we still would have won. And the reason the Giants and the Cowboys the week before were penalized so much for offsides, was because they couldn't hear the signals over the noise of all the Skins faithful!
Biggest stadium in the NFL, largest attendance, largest season ticket holder waiting list, largest fanbase in the NFL, and the #1 valued franchise in the history of sports, even more than the Yankees(look it up)

you aren't serious, are you? I'd argue, and quite successfully, that they aren't even top 10. Take a look at league-wide merchandise sales... unless Redskins fans are just too poor to buy merchandise.

I'd also like to see this waiting list for season ticket holders in comparison to others... but, I don't expect to.

I'm fairly certain this is based on the fact that the Redskins own their stadium, while the Yankees do not, and the value of the stadium is included.

I'll swear to any of your Gods, you can go look it up in Forbes or Money magazine. THE MOST VALUABLE FRANCHISE IN THE FOUR PROFESSIONAL SPORTS IS THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS AT ABOUT 960 BILLION. Followed by the Yankess and Cowboys at around 800 million or so. If you don't believe it that's fine, you are just ignorant(sw)
Oh, you can check out that link above, but there is a more recent one. I don't need to post it because I KNOW the Redskins are the most valuable franchise in sports.
By the way, they also have the largest average attendance in sports with over 100,000 a game, and the longest season ticket holder waiting list at around 80,000. Green Bay is second I believe.

The "franchise value" is meaningless... it's 100% due to the NFL's economic system, and not anything the Redskins have done. Of the top 33 most valuable franchises in pro sports, according to Forbes, 32 are NFL franchises. So like I said, it's meaningless.

How can you even say that the Skins are the hottest team in Football. The Seahawks have won 11 straight and now secured home field advantage through the playoffs.

Oh and yea the Skins will probably win next week against a very week and horrible Philli team but the Giants are going to win against Oakland so that takes away the division title and then they will just lose in the Wildcard race.

I think you're missing the obvious ... after New England takes out the Colts for us ... Broncos knock down the Hawks and host another trophy. And I will refrain making the Packers jokes.

But seriously this years skins team is too Jeckel and Hyde to bet on or against in the 3 game sprint to the super bowl.

The offense can disappear in stretches and the defense still is prone to giving up a big play.

As for Sean Taylor and Marcus Washington being the best in the game, that may be my favorite line. They are no Reed/Lewis from last year, and this year I would take Urlacher/Brown as the best combo

Yea how many rushing yds and rushing touchdowns does Anderson have compared to Alexander. Enough said.
