raising's more fun pf, even if it's wrong. I do think it's close though.

Anyways, what should i do on the river?

I don't love the preflop raise, but it's infinitely better than calling with it/who cares.

Bet the river.

Probably pretty close. I'm not gonna run through the math, but I doubt it's a big decision one way or another. Absent reads, I'd pay off this river. Too many people do stupid shit.

I'm very capable of folding to a check-raise here against an average player, but I'd be disinclined to do so at .5/1.00, just because the stupid shit factor is much higher.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that this is a hand KT a lot, so a river bet will often be called

preflop...eh...nevermind....

River: Bet.

I call. Absent a read he's passive. THat's an oxymoron, if he c/r's though.

QJo sucks.

Other then that I bet the river even though its basically theworst card that could have come off.
Emptyeye
Bet that river like it's your job. if he's the typical .50/1 clown, he would've woke up betting if he hit a draw.
pokerkid
just cuz i'm curious, how many people fold that preflop, how many people raise, and how many people call?

Do you guys think he calls down with like AJ, 10 10, or J10 often enough here to make the river bet profitable?

I ended up betting it just cuz because i'm a donkey and i don't think before i do things (and betting is obviously more fun), but now i'm thinking what could he have had that didn't get there?

Preflop, im folding. Make it the CO, and im raising. Im betting that river, unless ive seen him do some tricky stuff.
Actuary
Make it KJ I raise from where you are with 1 limper.

QJ I fold except in SB/BB with only 1 limper.

I don't want to play QJo against any CO/Button/Blind that calls a raise, unless these are horrible players.

In which case, I would still just limp and use my post flop skills.

With about 3 limpers, I'll limp QJ from MP3 +.

again, I don't have hard fast rules anymore.

I just win bay-bee.
TheCinciKid
Raising pre-flop could theoretically buy you the button, so it's not horrible. I still wouldn't do it though.

Good flop for your hand, I think your best value would be in bet/fold the river, though I might be likely to check behind.
Shimmering Wang
This is a very standard preflop fold.

While raising is poopy, limping is horrible. So stop raising here, but don't ever start limping.
