more value while they will call with anything now.
Lots of turn cards can kill your action

I used to wait till the river, and wonder why no one called anymore

Raisng is flop is correct, especially with 5 players and a draw board

Bet/call river.

you're not folding right, Screech?

Hmm, you guys don't give anyone credit for the flush? I got 3 opponents calling me down...one of them has to have it right?

It's the what to do when they c/r me that I struggle with.
Well, not really "struggle", I just push call, and spit.

I..
think you are beaten a lot by a flush.
think you get a lot of calls when you are not
don't think the lfush always raises you, thus costing you one bet only.
won't fold to a raise here.

It's easy to think this way. And there's probably a good chance one of them has a flush. But even if you're only good on this river 50% of the time a bet has value.

Plus 2 of them check to you on the river. There's a good chance one of them doesn't have a flush.

Exactly. I find the worst thing you can do, with a strong hand like a set, is freeze up and wimp out when a draw completes, even with 3 people in the hand. You can't possibly tell me you've never seen a situation like this where they all show down bottom pair, or second pair, etc. You will win this hand way more than you expect with your negative thinking, and because of this, you are missing out on a lot of calls, when you are ahead.

Hmm, I still have a hard time to think that c/cing this river is too weak.

Maybe it has to do wit the fact im running really bad lately laugh.gif

But still, is this close, or is it an obvious bet...? What if we had 2 opponents to act behind us? What about 3?

the more loose passive (you know, the type SSHE was built for) the more you bet, even OOP.

If you saw signs of good play, i.e pot building on the flop, and are up against TAG, you can lean towards c/c. But the more players in pot the more I want to b/c one back to gain value the times I am still good.
