Button was calling and often raising with trash.
Early on I folded and overpair when the board was paired.
With her 79% VPiP I felt it quite possible she held one of the two remining 6's and called pfr with one.
I made it up in spades later.

I'd say table selection is most likely key. That and variance kicked my ass early on in my 2/4 experience. Things have since gotten better, though I still am not beating it at anywhere near the rate I'd like to be.

after 3000 hands of irregular play, i am still getting my ass kicked. i hope things improve as well, because i know i'm kicking the games ass.

It's linked to an automatic program that queries the pt.mdb

that program would be my hero if it simultaneously opened up half a dozen clients and datamined 60 tables. especially if it did it on my piece of crap computers without slowing down my porn downloads.

Actuary, I think I played with you today, and ZachFCP. I had a crazy $159 pot (40 BB) at another table, happy holidays to me lol!
Actuary
yeah, and you called 2 raises back to you preflop in a 3-4 way pot after limping with A5 sooted and called down when an Ace flopped, so once again, I could lose with QQ.

tongue.gif

no offense.

Lol... didn't realize that was a fellow FCP'er who made that call... but like I said at the time, why the hell were you playing a drwing hand like QQ?!

No, I just "knew" the Ace was out there. You were a TPP and really doubted you bet/called Flop w/o an Ace. Given it was a weak Ace and I raised, I see why you did not bet again. Maybe you fold to a turn bet ?? This was a sissy/safe moment of mine.

And, I'm half kidding. After limping, I'd probably call two cold with Axs as well for two more, even 3-way.... nah...I'd fold. should I?

It probably was a stupid call but I did limp first and probably just got stubborn. I don't know why I didn't bet the river though, that was dumb. I usually fold that pf probably though?

Yeah, I'm definitely not limping with this hand in UTG or UTG+1. It goes immediately to the muck, at the table we were at anyways. If you are at a VERY loose passive table, you may be able to get away with limping this from EP.
