Heres a hand i want you guys input on: I have 2000 in chips early in a two table live tournament. 7 people at the table left. We started with 1000.
Blinds are 15-30.
2 people limp (1000 and 1500 stacks, respectively), then the small blind calls (650 stack), I check the big blind with Qc-10c. Pot is 120.
Flop comes Ah-9c-jc. Small blind leads leads out for 100 out of his 650 stack, im next to act?

limp. You want as many runners as possible in the hand.

Yup - keep as many players in as you can so that if you hit your monster draw, someone will pay you off with tptk or two pair.

I think I might have raised it pre flop, but now you want to see cards as cheaply as possible and pray for the str8.

Ditto.
So what you're saying is that you want to raise a strong drawing hand out of position, but only call when you make a monster draw....WHAT?!?!?
Do not raise with QTs, worst advice ever.
