10 million is way too much for ay poker pro to afford. Makes it interesting though
Yeah, Todd Brunson said in poker superstars that "he's won the most money than any other poker player, $20 million".
Now he's probably taken that out of context and refering to the time the corporation backed him against beal...or who knows he might have had a 20 million top line and that is the most. Assuming that statement is anywhere true (not likely though) then he has the most money and his playable bankroll isn't anywhere near 20 million, especially since he doesn't get any snazzy endorsments like his dad and others.
So in other words, Todd claims he made the most money, he claims its been 20 million...thats just making it, not living off it. Obviously this may/may not be true but I'm just using this as an general feel.
Something to me isn't adding up here because they're all jumping on this and willing to leave the middle of a tournament to sign the papers, but I don't see if they are so pumped to do a 10 mil buy in freeze out, then why haven't they done this before? They're so giddy about this one for a reason.
I bet they don't even have to put up half of the money....which I think is very -ev for FSN....a 60 million dollar TV show?? Seinfeld got a mil per episode, around 22 episodes making it a 22mil min. I really don't see this show being a cash cow like Seinfeld, especially considering it would cost 3x's as much to produce.
