Jennifer Harman has left the tournament -- but she still had chips on the table. She had a change in plans and was catching a flight to L.A., and abandoned her chips on the table. Don't be alarmed -- it doesn't appear to be any kind of emergency. But it was clearly a change in plans, or she never would have bought in today.
Anyone know whats up?

"lets protest the wpt by adding 15k to their prizepool"
I fail to see your logic.

I dunno.. Brunson is playing the event... if there was a REALLY big game going on somewhere, I'm almost certain he would be there...
I would guess some kind of family issue... she needs to go, but it's not bad enough for her husband to go with her...

ok.. I was wrong....
just heard that Hellmuth, Todd Brunson, Harman, Ivey (maybe?), and maybe a couple others, were all headed to L.A. via a private jet to play some billionaire... apparently the guy couldn't wait a day or two!
Amazing lifestyle...

According to Matusow on the cardplayer "The Circuit" He said they went to LA to sign "some poker deal" and he made no mention of Hellmuth.

Title: Jennifer Harman Eliminated -- For Real This Time
Log: Jennifer Harman left the tournament yesterday to fly to Los Angeles, but she left her chips on the table. Amazingly, she survived being blinded off to come into day two with $12,125 in chips. She returned today to see if she could build her chips back up, but unfortunately, she didn't make it through the first level. Jennifer Harman is leaving the tournament area for the second time; but this exit is final.

i doubt jen harman has 10 million to put up for a winner take all tournament. No way is she risking a large chunk/all of her bankroll for this.
Anyone think she has more than 10 million that she can afford to lose?

According to Todd Brunson, the bunch of them did actually leave to go to LA to talk about this 60 million dollar tournament.

that mother of all tourneys will have corporate dollars as well not just the buy-ins. Its about time these freeloading carriers start adding some cash.

I would guess that the people going to LA were being interviewed by some rich f****r to be staked. Not many of them have 10mil bankroll for this.
