Robert Mizrachi Doubles Up Early
Log:
After a flop of Ah-Qd-4s, Robert Mizrachi moves all in for $34,500, and the player in seat 4 says something along the lines of "I know you've got me beat, but I have to call." The player in seat 4 shows Ac-10c -- good only for top pair. Mizrachi flips over As-Qs for top two, and he is in a dominating position to double up here (the player in seat 4 has more chips). The only way Mizrachi can lose is if the other player hits a runner-runner straight or running tens (and they'd chop if the board brought running kings).
The Ks on the turn gave the other player some outs, and he could catch a jack to win or another king to chop. The river card is the 2s, and Mizrachi makes an unnecessary flush to win the pot and double up to about $70,000 in chips.
Did he think he was getting pot odds or something? Wow is all I can say.

He couldve just taken that money and bought a piece of a few pros, or just put it into my BR and I wouldve given him back 25k in a year.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought your post was going to say, "with myself." I must say, I'm a little dissapointed.

I hate to disappoint, I'll play with myself right now, just for you.

Thanks, but I can't stay around to watch now. I have to go take a poop, and I'm going to eat a cookie or two while I'm on the toilet. How do you like them apples?

Was that guy related to the Grinder? Sounds like that guy was watching too many episodes on the travel channel and thought he was at the final table. A 10? What could that donk beat? I got chip envy and I am not even in the tourney

Robert Mizrachi, the winner of the above hand is "The Grinder's" brother. He's also a very accomplished pro in Europe. He also has another brother, who isn't 21 yet, but is still dominating online poker. In the near future, there will be 3 Mizrachi's that are going to dominate the poker world.

I'll also laughed at this... I MIGHT do this at the start of the final table... if I thought I had a good read... but that early in a major tourney?!?
$15k wasted..... how many hookers and lap dances could that have bought?!?!
what a waste!!
