Any FCPers interested in doing a holiday casino trip?  I was thinking sometime between christmas and new years it might be a good idea to round a few of us up and hit fallsview for the day.

Personally I dont care where we play I have found fallsview to have the least amount of wait time for a table.

Any thoughts or interest?

Sounds like a definite possibility. dreamcaster will have to come drive me though.

i'd probably be up for it.  i'd prefer seneca since i've never been and the free drinks will probably smooth over that we'll be taking each other's money.  if the 21+ thing is a problem though, i'd prefer brantford or rama, since fallsview doesn't have many tables and if 5 or 6 of us show, that'll be a long wait in itself.

somehow i feel i'm less likely to get a ride from dreamcaster...

oh and i need someone to drive me too  :lol:

I'm in...between Christmas and New Years works best, most likely the same for everyone else.

Or Senica which is right there as well. Free drinks!!! Good for a "Holiday Party" if you are playing lower limits together and don't care.

I'm in Thornhill and i'm definetly up for that!! I had a disastorous trip to Rama yesterday, plus the fact that their dealers sucK!!!!! they were awarding pots to the wrong players, not being able to see the winning hand even after people at the table told them, and here's the kicker...i said something jokingly about a mis deal and the dealer gets censored, and i said it was a joke relax, and he mutters under his breath "censored" i started laughing...i won't go back there.

I had two different dealers try and award pots to the wrong player. The worst I had an Ace high straight and she said i had nothing and the guy with a pair of tens had the best hand. She pushed the chips to him!! He laughed at her and apologized to me which i thought was nice it wasnt his fault she was not too bright.

the dealers at all these casinos are pretty much equally terrible.

have you been playing the heads up tournies lately? how you been doing? i have only played once since we shared the win, due to work, but i miss them

Ya i have played 4 or 5 since, made the money twice (first round of pay out so not much more than the entry) and nabed 3rd once.

I took down a 180 person $20 nlhe on starts lastnight. That was a good win for me.

i'm not entirely sure yet, i'm going to let the scene overwhelm me at first, wander around bally's a bit (where i'm staying), then from there your guess is as good as mine! i'm definately going to try some NLHE and if i can find PLO8, i'll give it a whirl, as i've never played either of those live.
