first orbit at the table, no reads
Texas Hold'em $2-$4 (real money), hand #1,563,110,278
Table Encino, 8 Dec 2005 6:29 AM ET
Seat 1: qwikcorner
Seat 2: smand2000
Seat 3: Arlakon
Seat 4: etbynum
Seat 5: --atx45--
Seat 6: craigs21
Seat 7: oceanozone [ QC,JD ]
Seat 8: ringheim
Seat 9: Elvis lives
Seat 10: kahuna kuna
ANTES/BLINDS
ringheim posts blind ($1), Elvis lives posts blind ($2).
PRE-FLOP
kahuna kuna calls $2, 6 folds, oceanozone bets $4, 1 fold, Elvis lives calls $2, kahuna kuna bets $4, oceanozone calls $2, Elvis lives calls $2.
i figure i can possibly fold the blinds and improve my chances of winning the hand significantly by being agressive preflop.
FLOP [board cards 9H,5D,8C ]
Elvis lives checks, kahuna kuna bets $2, oceanozone calls $2, Elvis lives folds.
i call with my gutshot + two overs.
TURN [board cards 9H,5D,8C,5S ]
kahuna kuna checks, oceanozone bets $4, kahuna kuna calls $4.
he probably has a- high.
RIVER [board cards 9H,5D,8C,5S,KD ]
kahuna kuna checks, oceanozone bets $4, kahuna kuna folds.
i certainly lose the hand if i check, so i try it again...
i think itīs also not a disaster if i get called, since i can then get more action with my good hands later on.

Raise the flop, it increases your fold equity a ton on later streets and you have outs to improve.

i didnīt because his utg limp/reraise very likely means a monster, and if i get three-bet on the flop that doesnīt do me any good.

The l/r-r doesn't mean anything. It's more likely he's just a moron.

I HATE your hand histories, and I can barely even stand to read them...
Start including pot sizes (in number of bets) and, give positions instead of player-names (out of courtesy, and because it makes things easier. It's hard to tell this is even a limp reraise, because we've got people betting and calling and I can't tell when we're back around the table.
Thanks bud
