Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Ks], [Kc]. CO posts a blind of $1.50.
Hero raises, MP calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (18.50 SB) [8s], [9d], [Jh] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP calls.

Turn: (12.25 BB) [Qh] (2 players)
Hero bets, Hero calls.

River: (16.25 BB) [4c] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18.25 BB

Just curious where I should fold. The MP shows aggression preflop, so I didn't put him on a 10.

there's no "fold" in nh.

No folding here.
Played it perfectly.

A 10 soooooted for Villain?
MrNiceGuy
I'd either bet/fold or check/call the turn, depending on whether villain might overplay a hand like AK or AQ. Without a decent read, I'd check/call down after that Q hits.

Horrendous. Pukey-like horrendous.

SOOOO horrendous.

People need to stop bet-folding in huge pots, ESPECIALLY when we're not drawing dead very often, ESPECIALLY when we have an overpair.

Bad.

EDIT: I'd like to point out that I absolutely abuse BET/FOLDers. If I see anyone take that line, I just start indiscriminately raising turns/rivers in medium sized pots. It only has to work every once in a while to be ENORMOUSLY profitable.

Can't bet fold, gutshot outs alone make it worthwhile to call.

Ok, thanks for the input.

Villian had AA.

When the Queen hit, I was certain he didn't have a 10, until he raised me. Then it ever so briefly went through my mind as A10, but was quickly dismissed and a Set of Queens replaced it with his most likely holding. Even so, I had to call it down.

The reason I posted this hand is that I'm on a two week downswing which is not very long, but still frusterating. I thought this hand was pretty straight forward to play in a short handed game.

after the hand, this was the chat:

Villian: Back down little doggie.

Hero: Meh, I played it right. NH

Villian: No, you shouldn't have bet into me on the turn.

Villian: Most players would have checked it. Good players would have folded.

Villian: You know your kings were no good.

Hero: I'm pretty sure I'd play it the same way again. Especially at this donkilisious level.

Villian: true

The outcome doesn't matter. Playing it right does. Villian's comments coupled with my current downswing, made me want some other opinions.

Thanks all.

lol.

"You knew you Kings were no good?"
Well, his turn raise was a good clue; but othersise, he could have lots of hands we are ahead of.
You still have to call this down.
