just recently bought it
and it has a strategy for pot limit holdem but it doesnt have one for nolimit holdem
since these are pretty similar should i just use the pot limit strategy to improve my no limit game?
thx for the advice

No, return it and get Harrington's book. It's a million times better.

If you are looking for cash game strategy get pot-limit and no limit poker by Ciaffone and Stewart. It covers holdem, omaha and a few other games. Sklansky's tournament poker is the best one I have read for tournament strategy.

It has a No Limit section, it's right after the pot limit, it also has no limit practice hands that i found pretty useful. I wouldn't immediately return it, this book has some pretty solid imformation in there, although I feel it's aimed more at tourney's than cash games

This book is clearly just for tournament play, and its one of the best books on tournament play, especially early in the tournament. Playing this style won't get you a huge stack in the first few levels of a tournament, but you won't go bust with it either, and unless you are quite unlucky or get absolutely no hands to play, you should have a nicely increased stack after the first few levels.

I really enjoyed that book... Helped me quite a bit on my game in general...
