econ_tim ... ?

I know the flop bet is small, but I figure the pot is also small too so I can gamble a little.

Plus MP3 could raise me and then I can make a big reraise.

How do you play when the worst card in the deck comes?

I think no matter what you do here you're putting your stack in the pot if you want to see a river. The pots 19 you have something like 15 left. Its either surrender or all in. I think i'd go with all in but its def a tough spot.
....Ian....
if you are going to put your whole stack in anyway then go all in right there.

hmmmmmmmmm.

i say either c/f or push

I'd much rather see the flop go

tim bets $4 -> Mp3 raises to $8 -> tim goes all in for $19.

or

tim bets $4 --> MP3 calls.

The Ace of hearts is one of the worst cards possible. I'd check and hope we can somehow check this to the river and reevaluate. If he doesn't have the flush, this card is a scare card as well and your check can represent hitting the flush.

Haven't read replies.

Ergh.

One thing you'll learn very quickly in no limit as compared to limit is that it costs a LOT more a LOT more often when the worst card in the deck comes off.

I'm checking out of position, and praying that I get to check when I'm in position.

I like the flop re-raise, but you're right, that card IS the absolute worst possible turn card in the deck for us.

I think it'd be too results based of me to say that "you should have definitely overbet/led the flop here every time." For whatever it's worth, I sometimes underbet, but I'm ALWAYS closer to 2.35 than I am to 1 here on my flop lead.

When the 2 ideal draws hit, its time to check, hopefully someone value bets there flush or 10 J and you can call and boat on them, or you could lead out small and see what happens. Terrible turn.

i think u have to put at least 3 in on the flop and if he reraised im pushin
