After looking at some other winning players' stats, ive noticed that i defend blinds a whole lot more often than seems to be usual.
I fold my SB to steals roughly 80%
I fold my BB to steals roughly 35%
This _seems_ to be abnormally high.
According to this thread at the 2+2 forums from a reputable poster - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat...rt=&PHPSESSID=/
...
his stats show that (at the 2/4 level)
he folds SB to steals 83% of the time time
and he folds BB 63% of the time
For these figures, he experiences a loss of .18 from the big blind and .11 from the small blind.
I thought at first, damn, this must be a huge leak. But when i look at my amount won/lost from the BB and SB, im doing quite alright...
From the BB, i run a loss of .13 after 22k hands.
Since it's only for 22k hands, it probably isn't accurate for winrates, but it should be for VPIP (since VPIP converges much quicker than winrates do).
Is this something that i should be fixing fast, or is it possible to play profitably from the blinds with that high a blind defense percentage?
