Seriously,take the bus to Rama...well worth it...play the 5/10 game TAG and you will do well...most visits I leave up 20-25BB...not always as there are still chasers at that level and I'm not ready for the 10/20 - 20/40 tables yet...
I play in friendly 1/2 NL game in Markham 2 times weekly at is a good game with some fish and some rocks...its a better challege than Rama

5-10 rama is one of the least interesting HE games in the province, IMHO. the 10-20 is extremely soft there btw, and 20-40 games get soft late saturday night and stay soft until sunday nite.

I'm also interested in any home games in the Toronto area. I'm at Yonge and Eglinton, so any games near the subway would be awesome.

Also, would anyone be interested in setting up a carpool for Rama? I'd more than willing to help out with gas.

Have any of you played at the Nut House? It is in Markham and usually have games going on there. 5/5 Nl mostly though.

I have a great game going twice weekly in the Kensington Market area.

I guess the reason I find the 5/10 interesting is because I am beating it...Is it great poker? nope, but it certainly is not the bingo game that the 2/5 tables are...as I said the required buyins at the 10/20 and 20/40 are above what I am comfortable taking to the casino to gamble. I have no issue with my skill level, just I don't have the income that will support $500-1000 buyins...not on a regular basis that is...I have 2 kids in scholl..lol

apparently Shannon Elizabeth is showing up at home games in Toronto now. If she's gonna be there, count me in. Give me a little lead time though, I live in Boston........... well worth the trip.

on another note, i will be going to rama tommorow. if any FCPers are going, ill either be at nickel craps, or 10-20 LHE. (possibly 20-40 but i doubt a game will be going).

I play LHE, some NL but 1/2 made me sick...and I like to play some Omaha, I want to learn pinapple and 7-stud....I was playing 5/10 before i moved to edmonton and had to play 3/6, 4/8, 1/2NL, and 4/8 PLO. I'm back in Toronto now and don't have a casino 5 minutes away from me anymore.

As for transportation, for inner city i can use my mothers car until i get my car back from the rail. I can take transit, but vowed never again after taking it to York Uni.
