1 fold, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Well, im not Screech. But I really dont like it. Why the hell are you 3-betting?

It's certainly better than folding, but I like calling here for a few reasons.

1) Our opponents have already cold-called pf. We don't need to try and tie them to the pot.
2) UTG has a good hand. If we flop a set, he will likely bet and we get to trap the whole field. If we 3-bet and flop a set, it will likely get checked to us.
3) If it gets capped, our implied odds are even lower.

If everyone had just limped, I'd raise. As is, I think just calling is better.

I would 3-bet here with a hand like JTs.

cool, i remember a post a couple weeks ago where you were saying that you liked raising mid pp's with 5 limpers in. in the heat of the moment i thought it would be just as good to 3-bet.

in hind sight i thought it was pretty ugly.

btw i flopped top set link a donk a won a nice size pot.

There is definetly value in a raise. I just think calling has more value.

I don't like.

If there were no cold callers and UTG's PFR%age was particularly high (and the blinds not super loose), i think 3betting is alright.

The 3bet is almost never for value, given that action.
