just wondering who here is into pool? I'm thinking of getting my Billiard Congress of America certification to teach pool up here in Canada, but as a student it's a bit of a heavy investment.... I'm good enough to get certified without problem, but it's a full weekend down in the states :cry:

I play 2-3 times a week, used to have a table at my house. Mostly 9 ball and 8 ball.

i have a table at my house and i generally pwn noobs on it.

I do love me some snooker.

I don't play snooker that well.

I can beat my friends at 8-ball and 9-ball most of the time... but I'm definitely not good enough to gamble on it with strangers.

After playing 2 hours of snooker, hopping on a 9-foot table and playing some 9-ball is like hitting a beachball with a tennis racket.

Oh man, I need to start playing pool again. Such a fun game, but I have a crappy 8x4 table and a bunch of junk in the way of some corner pockets. I used to go to a pool hall and some guy walked up to me and asked "wanna play for some chedda'?" My friends and I couldnt stop laughing the whole night and kept mimicking him.

Mostly play straight pool on certain Friday nights. Having problem with my english lately. Need a new 9 ft table, me think.

I used to play every day of the week when I lived in Lake Tahoe, but that was over 6 years ago & now I play 1-2x a year at best. The rust builds up fast when you don't play a lot
