Full Version: ub points accumulation?

Alrighty, I'm just bonuswhoring around, and it seems like UB has some good stuff. I figure a sign-up through PSO, with a good sign-up bonus and a decent reload bonus on now and that's a lot of bonus money. But it seems like the UB points are pretty tough to accumulate.

I'm just curious how fast people tend to accumulate points. Specifically looking for approximations of how many points/table/hour you get at LHE at low limits (.25/.5, .5/1) and at 2/4.

Also, what is the ring game action like at the games I mentioned above?

Thanks,
Daniel

Points are accumulated quite easily and very quickly. Bonuses are easily cleared as well.

From UB website:

You will earn 1 UltimatePoints™ for every hour of play at ANY ring game table. You will receive credit for every minute at every table when you are sitting in. Play at multiple tables to double or even triple the points you earn. (The time you spend sitting out won't count though!)

One (1) UltimatePoints™ for every hour of play, up to 500, will be credited to your Ultimate Player's Club Account at the end of each month.

Bonus UltimatePoints™ for each raked hand will be earned as follows:
Rake UltimatePoints™
$0.50 - $3.00 0.50
$0.25 - $0.45 0.25
$0.05 - $0.20 0.10

Bonus UltimatePoints™ for raked hands will be credited to your Ultimate Player's Club account immediately upon leaving the table.

As for .25/.50 and .50/1 you will have a mix of good player, and loose players. Will get harder as you move up, but have no experience at higher limits.

Points are not that easy to come by. Did you sign up for rakeback through PSO? If not, you got screwed.

haven't signed up yet actually - still deciding on pokerroom vs UB vs eurobet for the next bonus.

no point in doing rakeback through PSO since i'll only be playing UB for bonuses.

thanks,

While this is true, you don't have a time limit to use up your bonus.

PSO is one a few sites that don't penalize your bonus from your rakeback. You'll earn the pso points in addition to anything that you earn and the bonus on UB never expires. I have around $700 backed up on UB and play it off when I have nothing else to play. The rakeback is just extra money in your pocket and is better for you in the long run.

i was under the impression that bonuses weren't deducted from rakeback on Absolute, but were deducted on other sites.
Your point is valid, but I already have other primary sites, and other sites I use from time to time. I would only be using a site like UB to clear bonuses, and I think my 6000 points from PSO would be more than I'd earn in rakeback in the next year or two on UB. in the long run i might earn more from rakeback, but i really don't know what i'll be doing online poker-wise in a few years.

appreciate your thoughts though.
