Hey everyone - I just finished clearing the Pokerstars bonus at 2/4 LHE and i was pretty surprised at the ease of finding easy games. I always thought Stars was a pretty tough site, but I was always able to find 2-3 games (at night anyways) with flops seen above 30%, and often above 35%, and average pots over $25.
probably a third of the time i was even able to find tables with flops seen averages between 40-60%...one time 72%!

Was I incorrect in my earlier belief that Stars was a relatively rocky site, has it loosened up lately, or do other people not share my observations?
I don't believe the site has an overload of Party-type poor players, but there still seems to be a glut of players who are profitably too passive/weak/aggressive or what have you, and very few solid TA players.

I agree Danny, I always was clearin the $120 bonus... Even at higher levels, 5/10 6max, 10/20, I found the games to be soft with far more loose passive players than I would expect.

It changed in the course of a year. Thank Chris Moneymaker & Greg Raymer for the publicity linking Poker Stars to "Winning WSOP ME" in fish mind.

18 months ago i played .1/.2 2.00 buy-in NL holdem there. That site was harder than the 1/2 200. buy-in i play today on a different site.
