dilemma...

i'm putting some money online, but i don't know which site to go with. i've played on all the big names for play money but idk. i was wondering which site was the best for real money. personally, i like pokerstars for the play money sit & goes. i was wondering if you guys had any input.

I would agree with this if it wasnt for the numbers. I feel that Full Tilt doesnt have enough people on the site, which makes Pokerstars stand out more. Full Tilt has it all, except for the sheer numbers. I like playing on pokerstars, playing in a tournmant against 1000 others, but i dont think you see that on Full Tilt. Full Tilt is a great site, but i personally think it lacks numbers to make it the best.

I love FullTilt's SnG structure and their MTT's have a manageable number of players, which I like way better than having to wade thru huge fields. I personally don't like the Stars interface or SnG structure. FullTilt is probably the best option out there, except for the fact that the limit cash games totally blow.

Plus, Stars is rigged. (sw)

Going up a lot lately... all the guaranteed tourneys are getting higher too cause the numbers are increasing.

ps blows the others out of the water

but party poker has so many suckers, sometimes you think your playing fake people, like a guy in$.50/1.00 limit holdem. he has nothing on the flop, calls bet, i turn top 2 pair, bet, he calls with only a gutshot, he hits it, i bet he just CALLS.. LOL

I'll take this play anyday.

Very true. I havent been back to Full Tilt in a while, but i think i will soon. Not long from now, Full Tilt will be the best site around, and even now with its numbers, its still right up there as the best, so i think in the next week, i will definently deposit into there and see how i go. The reason i talk about the numbers, is because im almost purely a tourney based player, and i think at the moment, ub and stars are the places to be for tourneys, but soon it will be ft.

I'm liking this discussion, because there is no idiot talk about how rigged one site is compared to the other, because in my opinion, that is not a valid argument. I have seen just as bad beats dished out on my time at ft and ub, as there are on stars.

If you play on Pokerstars, just beware of someone named Tritz at the tables......it's like he knows what's coming on the flop.

I personally prefer a slightly smaller tourney field, which is the main reason why I prefer Fulltilt. Also, I like the interface much better. For some reason loking at the stars interface for any extended period of time makes me start to feel sick. I dunno why.

Sometimes, I just can't help myself.

What limit does this Tritz play. I'm almost positive I've sat with him before. And yes I'm a newbie here and this is my first post but I realize Tritz is someone from here.

Heh, Tritz is a funny guy. Strangely enough I saw him playing 5/10 NL one time.

The waiting list had more players than the table if you know what I mean.

Full Tilt and Poker Stars...why not play on both and see which one you like best.

if you like pokerstars and you are just making a small first time deposit, then it is a pretty good place to start. along with their low limit site and goes they have some good micro limits that you could play on. once you build up some money and start playing higher limits you should look at other sites.
akoff
split between stars and fulltilt.

i play cash on full tilt and tourney on starts.
akoff
consider bodag as well. i am not on it right now but will go back...
