pretty new here but have visted several sites before and posted but never really got any feedback worth thinking about... anyways here what happened... I was playing in a Freeroll cause i dont got anyflow online and it was a qualifier for another tourny where top 20 move onto the next tourny.... there was roughly 30 people or so left in it so everyone was playing tight to try and make it... me i wanted to not only play tight but i wanted to win and was taking advantage of the situation... anyway i was on the button i dont remeber exactly what the blinds were but it was raised coming into me and i had rockets... i debated pushing all in which i prob should have to protect them but i didnt... i just smooth called... flop came A 3 10 rainbow.... once again there was a bet and a raise coming into me so i just smooth called knowing i had best hand... Turn came A.... there was a bet and then a call coming into me again, so i just called again... riv was a 8 i think.... bet raised coming into me... I was into the pot for only about 15% of my stack before this raise which was about 30% of my stack so i just bumped it to roughly 45% of my stack hoping to get a raise by someone else... one person folded and the other called.... anyways i think that i made the right play bybetting what i did when i did with the way things were going although there was this one guy on the table that would not leave me alone but he had no business being there anyway cause he was brutal... just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how i could have played this any different to try and get the most value for the hand which i think i did get.
any feedback is appreciated... Oh and i did come in the top 20 so am off to the next round :-) :-)

Goodluck with the freeroll, competition will be tough and maximizing your Quad Aces hands will be pivitol in winning the $10.
If you are lookin for advice raise every street pre flop to the river. Doesn't have to be big raises since there are no draws we are afraid of but something to get some more value out of the hang.

I think based on the action, I could see just calling here from the button. You have two players ahead of you that are betting, calling and raising eachother. This is one of those plays where you are like the third wheel to them, laying under the radar.
If you had 15% in, the raise put in 30%, and you make it 45%, this sounds to me like you one-overed. This is where I would play the hand differently.
The board is A 3 T A 8. My guess is that he has a boat. If he doesn't, then I have no idea what hes doing in the hand. When he bets, I'm going to raise at least the size of the pot, and here's why:
Based on the calling and raising, I think one of them has a set. If the do, it is going to be very hard for them to lay down the boat. You will most likely get called, especially if he is a bad player. Heck, even many good players will have a tough time with a hand like TT or 88.
That is really the only thing that I would do differently. I think a bet that's bigger than a one over will still get called and make you more money. If you really feel he has the boat and will call it, you could also try for the all-in, but this might not get called. Again, I'm betting anywhere from a pot sized bet to an all-in, and that decision would be based on my read of the player who raised the hand.

can't figure out why you're having trouble getting feedback
1. Paragraphs and proper puctuation help
2. Bet and stack sizes matter
I'm guessing you are 16.
Welcome.
I'm really a nice guy and will be glad to help you.
I take that back. I don't help with Tournies, much, becasue we have some really strong players.
Post in Tourney Forum next time.
Also, horrible smooth call preflop, just horrific.
