Any card rooms in DC? I live @ 2 hrs southwest of there...just wondering if anyone knew of any....the local games around here have run dry and I dont have time to run to AC everytime I get...

There is one in aberdeen, near baltimore, but there are a hell of a lot of big time home games and tourneys just about every day of the week in the DC area. PM me for more info.

There are a few illeagal clubs in the DC metro and Baltimore areas and there are also a ton of home games at all limits. Usually when you get into one home game it leads to another and so on until you find the games you like.

I'm in Martinsburg, WV, just wondering if you guys know of anything more out this way. Like the earlier poster, the closest thing I know of that's legal is in AC.

I'm about 15-20 minutes from both the Maryland and Virginia state lines in the WV panhandle if you haven't heard of where Martinsburg is (south of Hagerstown, Northwest of Leesburg).

I'm generally comfortable playing from 2/4 up to 6/12 limit or $50 or less buy in tourneys at this point. Thanks in advance!

Also, anyone know if there is any chance that they legalize poker at the tracks out here? They already have slots at Charles Town, for example.

As for as I've heard there has been a motion to legalize table games at Charles Town but I don't know if that includes poker. Nor do I know if/when this will really happen.



I'm sure there are home games in Martainsburg. I know there are several in Hagerstown (micro to low limit), Frederick (micro to low limit), and Leesburg (low limit). I think there is a small NL game in Harpers Ferry.
