all you canadian players out there i just need a bit of advice. my little brother is turning 18 pretty soon, and he has the idea to go to canada this summer to play in a real casino. what part of canada has the most poker, and more importantly, what is the age limit to gamble? i've heard that it is 18 in quebec and 19 in other parts, but i'm not really sure.

Take him to Calgary, Alberta. One of the nicest cities in Canada and there are some nice, new casinos in the city. Also, legal age in Alberta is 18 so he will have no problems. I have a friend who just moved there and said poker is pretty big in some casinos (lots of games to choose from) so you guys will be able to play a variety of games and limits.

No poker in Montreal so far.... They have been slow in setting up a poker room, even though word is that they eventualy will. It may be there by next summer though. Age requirement is 18 I beleive.

I live in Calgary....the age here is 18. We have 4 decent pokerrooms here. And yes, it's a great city.
