Hi Daniel and all others.

I have a question and a thought and wanted to see what other people think.

In my opinion Poker on TV is ready to go a new way.

Audiences are getting to know the personalities of the professional players and the shows like Bad Boys of Poker, Celebrity Poker Showdown and WPT event final table style shows are going to become staples in the cable and network TV markets. I think that this is a great thing for the many games of Poker and the WPT organization and players like Daniel should be congratulated on their achievements for bringing the game to the masses in such a remarkably short time.

I believe that audiences are ready for a show where everyone can relate to the experience of Poker. Since I am new to posting on this site lets just say that soon - Hopefully - that show will be on the air. I think you have heard about this one Daniel so please stay interested in this one...it is going to be a winner.

I would love to hear any feedback on this.

My question is: Does anyone out there know about "underground" games that are unique - I will let the word unique be interpreted by each of you - ; Unique in terms of the venue, the players, the game, the stakes etc etc. Who out there in North America is playing this game...and what do those games and people look like?

Looking forward to hearing from you all.
Cheers,
RavenWolf (AB)

I know of a "unique" home game int he washington area. Its a limit hold'em game 2-4 blinds with a big bet turn of 10 dollars. If the turn is big bet there is no betting at the river, it goes straight to showdown. I've never played it, but been invited several times. I hear it get pretty crazy with ppl big betting their draws.
